Dear Pinoy Love

I recently got an email from my friend who’s in desperate need of a love advice. I’m sure with the help of wisdom and experience of the people in the net, she can get more perspectives to help her out sort her love life. So it just goes like this, in a nutshell: Dear Friend, I’m just two years short of a masters degree but couldn’t focus on it right now because my five year American fiance who’s in LA right now doesn’t know that I’m about to elope with my Irish platonic mate who I met two years ago. I am a Filipina in the middle of a America and Europe. I love my fiance Dan who’s just waiting for me to finish my masters degree but he’s ten years older than me and is not as interesting, adventurous, unstable and exciting as Jean Claude who sent an engagement ring to replace the ring I got from Dan which I am wearing now. I know I just miss my fiance so much and have been frustrated with the long distance relationship that I have been accommodating Jean Claude’s exciting advances to sweep me off my feet…I don’t know if all love triangles end up like King Arthur’s but i am really so confused!
