I will not play at tug o’ war.
I’d rather play at hug o’ war,
Where everyone hugs
Instead of tugs,
Where everyone giggles
And rolls on the rug,
Where everyone kisses,
And everyone grins,
And everyone cuddles,
And everyone wins.

  1. I would want to see everyone happy. I dream of world peace too. I’d like to think that this world is filled with sunshines and daisies. However i have come to realize that this world is a play of powers and not everyone is bound to win. perhaps when you are young you get the perception that the world is a nice place to live in. everyone is nice to you and tries to make things easy but as you grow old you are faced with the reality that not every stranger you meet is “Jesus”.

for society to function there has to be to sides; good and bad,up and down, left or right. how then would we know that it is heaven if we aren’t aware that there is hell? how would we know sweet if we haven’t tasted bitter?

see, life is a pendulum. has has to go from one side to another. if not, we would loose all it’s beauty. we can’t all be winners, ‘coz if we all are, then we don’t have the right to call ourselves as such. for us to be winners, there has to be losers. equality is just a fragment of thought.Ü

  2. Yes. It is so great to have all the positive emotions possible in the world. We play. We laugh. We giggle. But let us face reality – we are all but humans. Even if we aim to have the positive outlooks in life, reality is, it rarely happens. Even if we don’t want to play tug o’ war, we won’t play hug o’ war either because that’s not what we feel. That’s why we are blessed with all these emotions. We have the liberty to use them if we feel like to. That’s what God blessed us with. We should be grateful with the gift.

  3. “Love is not love when its alteration finds”–a sonnet which lifts the depths of every relationship’s security. Competition is considerably the most challenging yet the least activity that one may love to indulge to. But then again, have you ever thought about it? Without competition, would you love to love someone whom you know is not worth fighting for?
